New Paint Class "Dire Troll", with Painter James on Saturday, March 16th, from 10am to 3pm, 6 Seats Maximum

Hello, All.
I’ll be hosting a ‘Learning to Paint’ class for beginners. We’ll use the "Dire Troll Paint Kit" by Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures which includes paints, brushes, pallets, and the mini. Everything you need to paint the mini will be supplied, and goes home with you at the end of the class! I’ll talk a bit about acrylic paints and their properties, how to apply a good base coat to a miniature, and different techniques like dry brushing, washing, layering, and thinning for color tinting translucent parts (wings in the case of the Hellwasp Kits). The "Dire Troll" Kit presents a chance to learn about painting desiccated flesh, tattered clothes, and more.
At the end of the class you’ll have a painted miniature you can take home, the supplies from the kit, and the skills to paint more!

I’m James, and I’ve been playing D&D since the 80’s. I still have the little blue dice that came in my first Basic Dungeons and Dragons box! I’m an avid PC gamer, with a deep-seated love of RPG’s. My favorite tabletop RPG is D&D 5E, my favorite PC game is tied between Baldur’s Gate 2 and The Witcher 3.
I’ve been painting miniatures for just over four years now, focusing on single models. I’ve painted a miniature for each character I’ve played at RPG Dungeon and many more that are on the store’s shelves!
