House GM McCaskill's Backstory :

Well met!

My name is Matt and I have been GMing games since 2022, but have been playing for much longer than that.
I've run everything from homebrewed home games to one-shots at conventions (if people are running TTRPGs at a convention in the DFW area, come say hi - I'll likely be there!).
I love teaching new players and hopefully encouraging a new hobby! My favorite systems are D&D and Daggerheart.
My games tend to be more narrative-driven with the "rule of cool" heavily involved to let players grow their characters into whatever they want them to be.
In addition, my games are very collaborative - you'll help me build the world as we play in it! As such, my GMing style involves flexibly, utilizing the mechanics of the system to best drive the narrative forward.
