House GM Nate

Hello all,

 My name is Nathan and I have been DMing D&D 5e games since 2019 along with some brief stints in other TTRPG systems. I love tabletop RPGs for their potential to create memorable stories with other people, friends and strangers alike. I have met many wonderful folks through the hobby and its been a pleasure to be a part of the RPG Dungeons community. I always make it my goal to walk away from a table with a story to tell.

 As a DM, I would describe my style as more open ended with an emphasis on player agency and story telling. I am fortunate enough to have a lot of opportunities to experience DnD 5e both as a DM and a player so I always try to run games that I think I would enjoy playing in. I put most of my session preparation effort into developing detailed and comprehensive sandboxes (big and small) that allow players to flex their creative muscles and use their character's abilities to the fullest. I pride myself on being very familiar with the DnD 5e ruleset (at least the 2014 rules), however, I do my best to make sure that the rules always facilitate people having a good time. I also love chatting with players on character builds, backstory ideas, or what their goals may be within the game.
