House GM Doug's Backstory:

My name is Doug, and I’ve been a Game Master for over 20 years. While I’ve run a wide variety of systems, my mainstays are Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Mutant Crawl Classics, and Star Trek Adventures. Ask me about other games I’ve run on our Discord channel.

I come from an educational background and strive to create a welcoming table for players of all ages, experience levels, and backgrounds. I’m especially passionate about teaching new players and helping people feel comfortable stepping into roleplaying for the first time.

My GM style blends old-school atmosphere and challenge with modern collaborative storytelling. I’m player-facing, flexible, and highly creative in my approach to building memorable one-shots and long-form campaigns. I love subverting genre expectations, weaving strong narrative arcs, and creating worlds that react meaningfully to player choices.

Most of all, I’m committed to fostering an engaging, inclusive, and immersive experience for everyone at the table while continually honing my craft as a storyteller and facilitator.
