Hello, All.
I’ll be hosting a ‘learning to paint’ class for beginners. We’ll use the Hellwasp paint kit by Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures which includes paints, brushes, pallets, and the mini. Everything you need to paint the mini will be supplied! I’ll talk a bit about acrylic paints and their properties, how to apply a good base coat to a miniature, and different techniques like dry brushing, washing, layering, and thinning for color tinting translucent parts (wings in this case). At the end of the class you’ll have a painted miniature you can take home, the supplies from the kit, and the skills to paint more!

I’m James, and I’ve been playing D&D since the 80’s. I still have the little blue dice that came in my first Basic Dungeons and Dragons box! I’m an avid PC gamer, with a deep-seated love of RPG’s. My favorite tabletop RPG is D&D 5E, my favorite PC game is tied between Baldur’s Gate 2 and The Witcher 3.
I’ve been painting miniatures for just over four years now, focusing on single models. I’ve painted a miniature for each character I’ve played in the RPG Dungeon and many more that are on the store’s shelves!
