House GM Dustin's Backstory:
With over 20 years of experience in the world of tabletop role-playing games, I started playing Dungeons & Dragons in high school. When our Dungeon Master became unavailable, I took it upon myself to keep the game alive by acquiring everything I needed to step into the role. Though I enjoy playing, I’ve discovered that my true passion lies in being a Game Master, where I can craft intricate villains and design creative encounters that challenge and excite my players.
I have a knack for balancing encounters and a deep appreciation for player creativity, always encouraging my groups to think outside the box. While my journey began with D&D, I’ve expanded my repertoire to include systems like Pathfinder, Deadlands, and Shadowrun. As lifelong comic book enthusiast, I was thrilled to start running the Marvel Multiverse RPG when it launched in 2023, and I’ve found great joy in diving into the world of superheroes.
Beyond the mainstream, I have a fondness for indie TTRPGs, and enjoy running games like Definitely Wizards, Alice is Missing, Inspectres, and Fiasco. Whether it’s a sprawling campaign or a one-shot adventure, I’m always eager to explore new worlds and share unforgettable stories with my players.
