About this experience
Dungeons & Dragons Learn-to-Play:
Greetings to you, Adventurers!
RPG Dungeons is happy to provide you with a chance to learn the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition game system. This will be a tutorial that covers all of the basic rules of gameplay.
It will be starting off with character creation, Why you have these numbers on your "Character Sheet", How you determine their value, What they represent, Where they came from, When to use them, and rolling all of that new found knowledge right into a fun romp across the lands of a fantastical world of Swords, Sorcery, Dungeons, and (yes, you guessed it) Dragons.
This Session will include more dangerous Combat, Tactics, Problem Solving, Non-Player Character Interactions, and Leveling-Up your character, from Lv.2 to (possibly as high as) Lv.4.
This will also include gaining Sub-Classes, Level 2 Spells, Increased Spell Slots, New Class Specific Abilities, and possibly (LV.4) your first Ability Score Increase (A.S.I.) or Feat choices.

House GM Corey' Backstory:
Hello, adventurer! Stay a while and listen...
My name is Corey. My pronouns are he/they. I've been playing tabletop role-playing games since 1997. My first character was a Wizard in Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. If you know Wizards in AD&D, you'll appreciate that I was fortunate to have a kind DM and managed to survive more than one session. I remained a player through 3.5 and started DMing during the 4e era (2008), where I fell in love with the gritty world of Dark Sun.
After a brief hiatus, I dove back into the hobby in 2015 and have been running games weekly since 2018. I draw inspiration from shows like Critical Role, Dimension 20, NADDPOD, Worlds Beyond Number, and 3BH. I've also explored other systems like Pathfinder 1 and 2, Gamma World, Mouse Guard, and was hooked on MMOs like EverQuest and World of Warcraft for a good period too.
These influences shape my storytelling style. While it's important to know the rules, the ultimate "Rule of Cool" always reigns supreme. I enjoy inventing fun new mechanics and finding ways for my players and I to collectively warp the game realm to our whim. Outside of gaming, I have a passion for art, anime, theatre, and game design, and I dabble in voice acting.
Looking forward to sharing epic adventures with you!
