-New D&D 5e Eberron Campaign-

Greetings all, I am looking forward to starting a new campaign in the Eberron setting. This campaign will lean into the draconic lore and creation of Eberron - meaning lots of dragon stuff!

The world of Eberron, created by three great wyrms, stands as a unique location in the D&D multiverse. Eberron is one of the more highly-magical worlds, heavily influenced by the presence of dragons through the history of the world; indeed the world itself is said to be the body of the Progenitor Eberron. Three Progenitor dragons, Eberron, Syberis, and Khyber created the world itself, and their existence influences every aspect of life on Eberron.

Southeast of the continent of Khorvaire lies Argonnessen, the secluded home of the dragons of Eberron. The dragons have protected their homeland and administered to the Draconic Prophecy, hiding its workings from the lesser races for tens of thousands of years. Recently, there have been more signs and portents of draconic influence, not the least of which was the emergence of the "Dragonmarked" - draconic magic manifested among the lesser races. The Dragonmarked houses have become more active as of late, and dragons have been seen more often in the lands of the lesser races. Many wonder if the ancient Prophecy is coming to pass, while scholars point at signs that the Daughter of Khyber stirs.

This campaign will take the players from the towering city of Sharn to the island nation of Aundair as they follow clues of the Prophecy. From there, they will travel to Argonnessen and learn more of the Draconic Factions; will they aid the Eyes of Chronepsis in their pursuit of the Lords of Dust, or will they fall under the sway of the Talons? Will the PC's make themselves valuable to the Chamber, helping the dragons prepare the lesser races, or will they fall to the Light of Syberis - those that guard Draconic lore from the lesser races?

This will be a 5th edition (2014) campaign occurring every 2 weeks. We are targeting a Thursday night game. Characters will start at 3rd level, expected to reach level 15 and beyond. PC races and classes will be Eberron-based; resources and content link will be provided. You don't need to know anything about Eberron if you'd like to join, but we will be using the following sources for the campaign: Eberron Campaign Setting (3e), Eberron Campaign Guide (3e), Dragons of Eberron (3e), Sharn, City of Towers (3e), Eberron Campaign Guide (4e), Wayfinders Guide to Eberron (5e), and Eberron Rising from the Last War (5e).
