Keys to the Golden Vault: Prisoner 13
Keys to the Golden Vault is a Series of One-Shots for D&D 5e (2014 rules) of heist-focused games.
Players are members of the Golden Vault, an organization that operates outside the traditional powers in the planes to right wrongs, always supporting a just cause even if their methods may not always be legal.
This series is being run twice per month, and players are welcome to drop in for one game or stay for the entire series.
In this one-shot, players will help unlock a lost dwarven treasure.
The catch?
The only person who knows how to open the vault is locked in Revels End, a Fortress of a Prison in the frozen north.
Infiltrate the prison, get the information from the prisoner, and bring that information back to the treasure’s rightful owner.
This is a Level 4 one shot, and players should come prepared with characters, dice, and other 5e play materials, but there will be time for character setup and DM review at the start of the game. Be sure to use Standard Array for your Ability Scores.

Hello there!
My Name is Hayley (AKA House GM Katie, for coding reasons) and I’ve been playing/running TTRPGs since 2020. Like a lot of people in quarantine, I had too much time on my hands and nothing to do other than watch 5e live plays and finally got what my sibling has been talking about for years. I started out running games – turns out it’s easier to get a party together when you’re willing to run it.
My favorite thing about TTRPGs is the storytelling potential. From gods to a single weird town, I love the worlds that can be made and the characters players bring to populate them. I like to run different systems to tell these stories, and anyone wanting to tell a story and willing to learn is welcome.
