About this experience
Monster of the Week: 1-Shot
Learn-to-Play
“The Valewood Institute collects, investigates and Archives modern and historic folklore all across the United States. Sometimes they deal in apocryphal stories of great American heroes, other times they respond to unusual tales submitted by everyday people.
As researchers, you are sent out to find the truth behind these Statements and bring back what ever information you can, preferably alive.
In the sullen plains of Missouri, there are small towns one can blink through and miss. Deep in the wheat and corn, there are places one might live and never be found. When the road ends and the gravel falls away what will you find when the sun goes down?”
Details: One-Shot Monster of the Week Date to be decided when enough interest has been peaked. The system is incredibly quick to pick up, requiring only 2d6 and a character sheet ((which will be provided if you’d like))
Themes: The places beyond the map and satellite, the darkness that breeds in the wheat, simple townsfolk with simple ways, things that cry for nightfall.
Goes good with: The Magnus Archives, Let the Right One In, The Children of the Corn

House GM Kalen's Backstory -
Howdy!
I’m Kalen, Your friendly neighborhood bard and storyteller. I’ve been Gaming for a decade now, as well as writing and running various LARP content for fantasy and Post-Apoc. D&D 5E is old hat to me and I’m happy to run that, but I’m also interested in running some Scion and Monster of the Week as well.
Let’s tell some amazing stories together!
