About this experience
Dames & Changelings & Dragons: For Beginners
-The Fabled Forest-
You awaken in soft moss beneath a twilight canopy, the trees whispering stories you don’t remember living. Fog curls at your ankles. A light flickers in the distance—too bright for a firefly, too clever to be chance. You don’t know how you got here. You only know the forest wants you to stay.
Welcome to the Forest of Fables, a vast and enchanted wood where every path leads into a twisted version of a fairy tale. Step into a story and it may mark you. Change you. Or swallow you whole.
This beginner-friendly game is a series of fairy-tale-inspired one-shots set within the magical, mysterious world of the Forest of Fables - where not all tales end with a kiss, and some wolves wear red.
(The spirit of the Dames' game is intended for women and marginalized non-binary and genderqueer folks. Please be respectful of this and book your tickets accordingly.)

House GM Nikki's Backstory:
My name is Nikki and I’ve been playing D&D for years now. I jumped all the way into the deep end within a few months and started GM’ing a homebrewed campaign for friends.
While playing in a handful of campaigns, I also still run that homebrew campaign and do repeated runs of a “mini campaign” set in a summer camp designed to teach new players game mechanics and to help them get comfortable with roleplay - I LOVE helping new players learn how to play!
It can be scary to start playing something with so many options and rules and structure, so I love watching people and characters grow in their confidence and knowing how they’d like to move around a battlefield, a goblin town, a masquerade ball - what motivates each character to do what they do! If you don’t know yet, let’s figure it out together!
