About this experience
The Frozen North
Katabatic winds sweep down from the Reghed Glacier, ceaselessly battering anything that dares to grow or breathe in Icewind Dale. Without fail, these winds find their way through every chink and crack, every opening in the warmest furs, every tent flap, every roof and board of the strongest homes, draining away any hint of warmth.
The sun, held down below the horizon by the Frostmaiden’s magic, offers no respite from winter’s fury.
Can our adventurers survive the endless winter? Let's find out in the Frozen North!
Your Host
RPG Dungeons House GM Katrina’s Backstory.
Greetings, brave adventurers!
I go by the name Katrina, and my journey into the realm of RPGs began in 2005.
Four years ago, I delved into the enchanting world of 5e, recognizing the boundless creativity that games like Dungeons and Dragons offer, limited only by the expanses of our imagination.
For the past year, I've been the storyteller behind a captivating 5e Wildemount campaign, as well as a customized Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign. I have a penchant for weaving tales within established settings, steering away from the mundane "as written" adventures to ensure each experience is uniquely unpredictable. In my realm, players hold the reins, exploring an open world where their choices shape the unfolding narrative.
While I do uphold the rules of the chosen system, the "rule of cool" holds sway in my realm. I orchestrate challenging encounters with a high-risk, high-reward system, inviting you to slay monsters and navigate the mysterious depths of dungeons.
In addition to my 5e exploits, I've recently ventured into the captivating realm of running Dungeons and Dragons 3.5, adding another layer of excitement to our epic tales.
