D&D 5e Curse of Strahd: Flashback, with House GM Hayley on Sunday, June 8th and 22nd, from 11am to 4pm, 4 Seats Maximum
About this experience
Curse of Strahd
-Flashback to the Beginning-
We are just about at the end of Arc 2 of a 4 Arc run of Curse of Strahd. The action is ramping up! Current party level is Lvl 5 and should be Level 10 at the end.
We play every other Sunday morning 11am-4pm at the Dungeon. I will be re-running the Start of the Adventure (Arc 1) for 2 sessions in June: Character Level 2.
Setting: House of Durst (and entry into Barovia if there's enough time) which is a great opportunity for new players to join in with 2 others from the current group of 4 that also missed out on these beginning storylines of the campaign. Feel free to DM me with questions!
Dates of the "Re-Start":
June 8th 11am-4pm
June 22nd 11am-4pm
Concept: A Dungeons and Dragons 5e 2014 adventure leveling 1 through 10 where players are pulled into a dark land bent on corrupting their very beings to give into madness and misery. The adventure poses a question to players: are their characters strong enough to resist the despair of the realm to rise up and conquer the evil- once and for all? Or, like countless other adventurers before them, fall to the might of Barovia’s Dread Lord?
Aim: To collaboratively tell a story where players are invested with characters exploring and embodying what it means to be a hero. (in terms of alignment, characters are on the good/neutral axis. not evil motivated) Tone: Embrace the dark fantasy setting and create characters with heroic hearts or the potential to grow into true heroes when faced with life-or-death situations. Cooperation and collaboration will be key in this twisted realm.
Subject Matter: The campaign largely focuses on social encounters, investigations, and exploration. Combat may occur infrequently, but it is narratively meaningful. Themes of this campaign will deal with characters in a “fish-out-of-water” setting.

House GM Hayley’s Backstory
Greetings Travelers,
What fanciful tales do you bring to the altar of adventure?
My name is Hayley and I have been a Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast since 2015 when my local board and card gaming group decided to take the risk and give tabletop gaming a try. I have been running D&D 5e games as a GM since 2016.
The reason I enjoy tabletop games so much is the experience of cooperative storytelling. The ideas and stories that develop from players are just as entertaining to me as a high fantasy novel series. I love running games for new players as well as games for veterans looking to get their latest game fix. I look forward to meeting everyone and telling epic stories together.
Please sign up for our Newsletter, Facebook Page and Discord, so you can be notified of dates and times I will be hosting games at RPG Dungeons Gaming Center.
